BA in Political Science

Examine the role of government with a bachelor’s degree in political science.

The Bachelor of Arts in Political Science will prepare you to examine the role of political systems in determining how members of a community live, the community’s principles and goals and the nature and sources of political obligation.

The political science major is organized into five fields—American government and politics, political theory, comparative government, international relations and American public policy. As a political science student, you are encouraged to read with understanding, express ideas with clarity and force, and analyze political problems and issues systematically.
