CNN's Van Jones To Speak At Adelphi University

Jones will discuss the primaries, the upcoming election and more at his talk on Feb. 20. Tickets are just $5.

Gearing up for the 2020 Election and Super Tuesday primaries, CNN political commentator Van Jones will visit Adelphi University for a talk on Thursday, Feb. 20. The event will be in the Adelphi Performing Arts Center Concert Hall from 7 to 8 p.m., and the general public can purchase tickets.

During his discussion, Jones will unpack details of presidential politics, campaigns and this year’s election.

Jones is the CEO of REFORM Alliance, an entrepreneur, CNN political commentator and host of "Redemption Project" and "The Van Jones Show" on CNN.

In addition to his work as a political commentator, Jones, a Yale-educated attorney and New York Times best-selling author, is a social and environmental justice advocate, founding and leading numerous social enterprises including the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, Color of Change, Rebuild The Dream, The Dream Corps and Magic Labs Media.

Throughout his career, Jones has been honored with several awards including the World Economic Forum’s “Young Global Leader” designation; Rolling Stone’s 2012 “12 Leaders Who Get Things Done” and named to TIME’s 2009 “100 Most Influential People in The World”; and the Root’s 2014 “The Root 100” lists.

Tickets to the event are free for Adelphi students, staff and alumni and $5 for community members.
